Basilique de Santa Croce
The Santa Croce Basilica is the principal Franciscan church in Florence, Italy, and a minor basilica of the Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in Piazza di Santa Croce, about 800 meters south-east of the Duomo. It is the burial place of some famous Italians, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, the poet Foscolo, the philosopher Gentile and the composer Rossini, which is why it is known also as the Temple of the Italian Glories.

Piazza della Signoria is the L-shaped square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. It is the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political focus of the city. Galerie de l'Académie
Galleria dell'Accademia was founded in 1784 by Pietro Leopoldo, the Grand Duke of Tuscany. It is an art museum best known as the home of Michelangelo's sculpture of David. It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists, mostly from the period 1300–1600.
