Keukenhof
During the journey to the tulip fields, travelers will enjoy a captivating introduction to the history and significance of tulips in Dutch culture, including fascinating stories about the 'Tulip Mania' of the 17th century and the Keukenhof.
Upon arrival, guests will use their included tickets to enter the tulip park, where they will have free time to explore at their own pace.
Within the park, they can wander through beautifully curated gardens, marvel at the vibrant displays of tulips and other seasonal flowers, and take stunning photographs. This stop offers a perfect mix of education and leisure, allowing travelers to fully appreciate the beauty and heritage of the Netherlands' most iconic flower

Simonehoeve
A real working family farm tucked away from the tourist crowds, and one of the highlights of the day. Travelers spend about an hour here, meeting the animals, feeding the goats, and getting up close with the rhythm of Dutch country life. Inside, the farmer puts on a clog carving and cheese making demonstration that feels less like a presentation and more like a stand up comedy set. You'll laugh, you'll learn, you'll taste real Dutch cheese straight from the source. This is the authentic countryside experience most tours promise but rarely deliver.

Volendam
About two hours in Volendam, the colorful fishing village on the IJsselmeer. We start with a guided walk through one of the charming neighborhoods just off the main harbor, where I share the stories behind the wooden houses, the fishing heritage, and the daily life of this tight knit community. We also stop at one of the cheapest authentic souvenir shops in the Netherlands, a hidden gem most tour groups never find. Travelers then have about an hour of free time to enjoy lunch at one of my recommended local spots, take photos by the harbor, or try on traditional Volendam costumes for a fun keepsake.

Zaanse Schans
We end the day at Zaanse Schans, and the timing is intentional. Most tour buses arrive in the morning and leave the village packed and noisy. We do the opposite. Travelers arrive late in the afternoon, when the crowds have thinned and the light turns golden over the river. For about an hour, we walk together along the row of historic windmills, several of which still operate today, while I share the stories behind this living piece of Dutch heritage. Peaceful, scenic, and the perfect closing chapter to the day.
