Travel briefly through a quiet residential neighborhood to the first glacier lookout, before riding along a flat nature trail with more great views of the glacier. Bike ride lasts 1-1.5 hours, with amazing photo opportunities.
After the leisurely ride, at your pace, we do some sightseeing, including an optional visit to the DIPAC salmon hatchery, in a luxury hybrid SUV.

Glacier Mendenhall
Initially, we drive to Mendenhall Valley to get matched with our bikes and helmets. While we do not go to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center (nor to Nugget Falls), we bike to two other spots a few miles from the Mendenhall Glacier. First, we bike to a gorgeous glacier lookout. Second, we bike along a flat nature trail with more amazing views of the glacier. Afterward, we return our bikes and continue on our sightseeing adventure in a luxury SUV.

We drive to this park to see "Tahku", the whale statue on the Gastineau Channel, which commemorates fifty years of Alaskan statehood.
