here stands the only historical synagogue of Vienna which was not destroyed in the November Pogrom of 1938. We talk about its history and architecture. However, as it is currently undergoing renovations, it is not possible to enter the building.

the location of the Simon Wiesenthal Institute in Vienna. A small museum about Wiesenthal's life and work is on site, however it is not accessible on late afternoons or on weekends.

Once the location of the Hotel Metropol, the 'Jewish Sacher', later that of the Gestapo headquarters. We talk about the history of this place over time, and have a look towards Leopoldstadt across the Danube canal, which was in various epochs and is again today the centre of (orthodox) Jewish like in Vienna.
