Misir Carsisi (marché aux épices)
• Built in the 17th century as part of the New Mosque (Yeni Camii) complex in the Eminönü district.
• Its name “Egyptian Bazaar” comes from the fact that it was originally financed with taxes collected from Egypt during the Ottoman Empire.
• Historically, it was the center of spice trade in Istanbul.

• Smaller and easier to navigate than the Grand Bazaar.
• Features 85–100 shops arranged along a long, L-shaped covered arcade.
• The air is filled with the aromas of spices, herbs, and sweets, creating a very sensory experience
