La Orocoveña Bakery
This is a quick bathroom break before we begin the hike. Also here I recommend you try a local pastry as they are very fresh and delicious. My favorites are the “Quesito”

Cerro Mime
Our guide will meet you at 1374 Ashford Ave and from there we will drive into the heart of Puerto Rico, to a small town called Orocovis. No tourists come here this is very authentic and off the beaten path. The drive takes us thru the Panoramic Route of Puerto Rico where you will see some of the most beautiful views in all the island. When we begin our hike it is important that everyone is fit enough for a short yet very strenous hike. It takes about 40-60 minutes to summit. Sounds short but it is very intense and under the hot sun at all times. Good fitness is required. During the hike and once you get to the summit you will be blessed by some of the most spectacular views in this country. Cerro Mime is a magical place located in the center of the island. This is a unique experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

Río Toro Negro
After the hike we drive a bit deeper into the island to a town called Ciales. Its a short yet beautiful drive. There we get to a locals favorite: Rio Puente del Cacao. Its a bridge that goes off into one of the most beautiful rivers on the island: Toro Negro River. From the bridge itself we can jump down into the river or simply hike down a set of homemade steps the locals have made. Again, this is a very local and different adventure from anything else that is being offered right now. This is quite easily the most fantastic tour or experience in the entire island without exaggeration. In the river we will spend about 90 minutes. 90 minutes of fun adrenaline or blissful peace. All depends on your personal preference.

Panoramic Route (Ruta Panoramica)
The drive In and Out the adventure will be thru the famous “Panoramic Route” of Puerto Rico. This road, although tricky and narrow, offers the most magnificent views of the entire island.
