For over 25 years, the original Hunter Valley Chocolate Company & Fudge Factory has been delighting visitors with its handcrafted chocolates, gourmet fudge, and decadent sweet treats. Nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley, our chocolate haven has become a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike.

Spread across 14 hectares encompassing 10 internationally themed gardens to explore, there is something for everyone, including the ever-popular Storybook Garden. 8km of pathways will lead you to spectacular vistas including a 10m high waterfall, topiary displays, man-made ponds, statues, murals, beautiful architectural structures and much more. In the Gardens there are 6,000 trees, 600,000 shrubs and over 1 million ground covers to discover from Australia and around the world.

At the entrance to our estate, five generations of Tyrrell family winemaking can be traced to Edward Tyrrell’s original ironbark slab hut, built by hand in 1858. For 167 years since, Tyrrell’s has been a pioneer in both the Hunter Valley and Australian wine industries and is now home to some of Australia’s most awarded wines.
