The city center tour includes the beach, the pedestrian and shopping streets, the fishing port and the sumptuous 17th century shipowners' houses. Your guide will reveal many themes: whaling, the rich shipowners, the era of privateers, the marriage of Louis XIV, the reorganization of the city by Napoleon III, the development of tourism and the treasures of Art Deco.
