In the morning, we will begin our visit to Ahu Vinapu to see the wall of Ahu Tahira, which is very similar to Inca walls. You will also see a moai made of red scoria, which could represent a woman with two heads.

Continuing with the tour, we will drive up to the Rano Kau Volcano, which has the largest and most beautiful crater on the island. The view is breathtaking, and the sea surrounding the area will make you feel as though you are at the center of the world. To explore the final chapter of the island's history before the arrival of Catholic missionaries, we will head to the Ceremonial Village of Orongo. Here, we will learn in detail about the Birdman or Tangata Manu competition, which lasted over two centuries and ended around 1864. This competition involved going to the islet of Motu Nui to find the egg of the Manutara bird, in order to be crowned king or leader of the island.
