This market is the biggest local market in Chiang Mai where lots of Thai locals do their shopping. After that, we hop on a pedal-powered trishaw (Samlor) head to explore the centre of old town and visit Tapae Gate, the main entrance to the old walled city. Then, we visit the Three Kings Monument and walk to Pantao Temple which is the teak Lanna viharn. It is constructed of moulded teak panels and supported by giant teak pillars. When these kings ruled, there was a harsh way of living in the region which now is Northern Thailand. In order to safeguard their territories, these three Kings had sworn an oath of eternal friendship and alliance resembling in the Chiang Mai Three Kings monument.
