Start the day with a scenic drive of approximately 210 kilometers (130 miles) to the province of Canas, enjoying the breathtaking Andean landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Layo around 9:00 AM, you will be welcomed with a nourishing community breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead. Afterward, begin a 7-kilometer (4.3-mile) hike toward the base of Pallay Punchu Mountain, a roughly 3-hour ascent through striking high-altitude scenery with vibrant colors and unique natural formations. Once at the summit, take in the spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, with time to rest and capture photos before beginning the descent back to Layo.

Pallay Poncho
Arriving at Layo Canas community by 9:00 AM, we'll indulge in a hearty breakfast to prepare for the trek ahead. Setting off towards the base of Pallay Punchu Mountain, the hike spans roughly 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) and takes about 3 hours. Amidst the breathtaking landscape, we'll ascend the mountain, surrounded by captivating colors, creating an unforgettable experience.

Cuzco
Upon reaching the summit and relishing the panoramic views, we'll descend and return to Layo Canas to lunch.
Afterward, we'll commence the journey back to Cusco.
