Depart from Durban at 6am and head off to Underberg. In Underberg, transfer into a 4x4 to start the tour on the Sani Pass. A Sani Pass tour is an adventurous journey through one of South Africa’s most dramatic mountain passes, connecting KwaZulu-Natal to the Kingdom of Lesotho. The thrilling ascent in a 4x4 vehicle takes you along rugged, winding roads with breathtaking views of towering cliffs, deep valleys, and sweeping landscapes. At the summit, you’ll cross into Lesotho, where you can visit a traditional Basotho village and experience the local culture. The tour often includes a stop at the highest pub in Africa, offering a unique and scenic way to end the adventure. This tour combines natural beauty, cultural immersion, and a sense of adventure, making it a must-do experience.
You will return to Underberg at 3pm. From there we start our journey back to Durban to conclude the tour.
