Abra Patapampa
We started the tour at 3.00 am and our first stop was at the Mirador de los Volcanes in Patapampa, the highest point of our tour, located at 4,900 m above sea level. From here you can admire the stunning volcanoes Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca, as well as the spectacular Andean landscape of the highlands. An ideal place to take panoramic photos and appreciate the grandeur of the Colca Valley before descending towards the villages of the valley.

Chivay
Arrive in Chivay, capital of the Colca Valley, to enjoy a full continental breakfast served in a local restaurant. This moment allows you to recharge to continue exploring the villages and viewpoints of the valley.

Mirador Cruz del Condor
We visit the famous viewpoint of the Condor Cross, where you can observe the majestic Andean condors in flight. Enjoy panoramic views of Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world, and capture unforgettable photos of the stunning Andean landscape.

Maca
Stop in the traditional Andean village of Maca to get to know its colonial church Santa Ana, its picturesque main square. Here you will also have the opportunity to take pictures with flames or the Andean eagle, in a typical and authentic environment.

Mirador Antahuilque
Stop at the impressive Mirador de Antahuilque, from where you can observe the ancient pre-Inca agricultural terraces that are still used by the communities of the valley. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Colca Valley, ideal for photographs and to appreciate ancient agricultural engineering amid the Andean landscape.

Tumbas de Choquetico
Stop at the Mirador de Choquetico, a little-known archaeological point in the Colca Valley, where ancient petroglyphs and rock-cut formations attributed to pre-Inca cultures can be observed. From here you will also enjoy panoramic views of the Andean valley.

Yanque
Visit the traditional town of Yanque, famous for its colonial church San Juan Bautista, considered one of the oldest and most beautiful in the Colca Valley. In addition, you can observe the typical dance of the valley, the “Wititi”, known as the love dance and declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Tour its main square surrounded by colonial houses and appreciate the customs and traditions of its inhabitants

Enjoy a relaxing stop at the hot springs of Chacapi, located in stunning natural surroundings of the Colca Valley. Immerse yourself in its mineral hot water pools, ideal for relieving fatigue after the tour, while enjoying the surrounding Andean landscape. This stop is optional, perfect for relaxing and taking pictures of the unique environment.

Stop at the extensive Pampa de Toccra, an area of the Andean highlands where it is possible to observe vicuñas, llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat. Enjoy the open landscape at altitude and take pictures of the Andean fauna as the guide explains the importance of these animals to local communities

Patahuasi:
Last and brief stop in Patahuasi, a high Andean area located more than 4,000 m above sea level, known for its puna landscapes and rock formations. Here you can take pictures of the natural environment and appreciate the typical landscape of the Andean highlands before continuing the return.
