Vallée d'Owaku-dani
Travelers will explore Owakudani Valley, a dramatic volcanic area formed during the last eruption of Mount Hakone about 3,000 years ago. Here, visitors can see active sulfur vents, steaming hot springs, and rugged volcanic terrain up close. Guests will also have the chance to try the famous “black eggs” (kuro-tamago), boiled in the natural hot springs and said to add seven years to your life. On clear days, the valley also offers impressive views of Mount Fuji.
