Canyoning is a mountain river descent where you will adventure yourself along the riverbed using different tecnhiques and aproaches, such as walking, jumping, sliding and rope maneuveurs. All along the River you will find times to experience jumping, sliding or rappelling in waterfalls into crystalline water lagoons. On this particular River you will have the chance to challenge yourself at your own measure, thanks to its easy acesses and limited and optional difficulty since many of its obstacles can be walked around. Itinéraire
This tour will start in Porto, where you will meet your professional driver that will take you high up on the mountains in the Arouca Unesco Geopark straight to your meeting point with your Activity Guide. After a brief explanation on how the activity will proceed, your guide will drive you, in a 4x4, across the mountains and head straight to the River near Manhouce Village, where you will receive every equipment that you will need. On arriving at the river, after a brief but important safety briefing you will adventure yourself on the Waterfalls that make this River so exciting!
