(Optional)It has the oldest university in Germany and one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe. It has beautiful fountains, elegant residential buildings, etc. The world-famous Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is also located here.

(Optional)After the tour of the castle, visit the [Old Bridge]. This Baroque stone bridge was built in 1788 and spans the Neckar River, a tributary of the Rhine. Don’t forget to touch the right hand of the bronze monkey statue beside the bridge for good luck while admiring the scenic view of the castle.

(Optional:Rüdesheim - Assmannshausen 12€ per pax)Take a Rhine River cruise and disembark in the small town of Assmannshausen. You can see the Rheinstein Castle on the other side from the disembarkation point, and then return to France. (The boat is open from March 30th to October 20th every year.)

Wurtzbourg
