Florence Historic Center
Together with the visit to the Accademia, it is possible to add a pleasant walking tour that will lead you to the most renowned places to discover Florentine history and art.
We will start from Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the first Medici residence; we will continue to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza del Battistero, to admire the Cathedral of Florence and its Baptistery.
We will go to Piazza della Repubblica, the heart of the city where street artists gather, and where the Romans had established their Forum.
We’ll head to Piazza della Signoria to admire Palazzo Vecchio, the second residence of the Medici, with its classical statues and the beautiful fountain of Neptune. We will continue to the Piazzale degli Uffizi to see the Museum among the most famous in the world. The tour will continue towards the Arno river and then reach Ponte Vecchio with its historic goldsmith’s shops.
