Chronicle of Georgia was created by Zurab Tsereteli, a famous Georgian sculptor, painter and architect who resides in Moscow. Although most of Tsereteli’s works are found in Russia and the country of Georgia, the West became familiar with his creations through the Tear of Grief sculpture, presented as an official gift to the United States from the Russian government to commemorate the victims of the September 11 attacks.

Abanotubani, Baths District is one of the oldest districts of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, the river. On the right bank of the Mtkvari. The name is related to the baths built on the naturally hot mineral waters known since ancient times on the territory of old Tbilisi.

The Bridge of Peace
The Peace Bridge is located on the Mtkvari River in Tbilisi, between the Metekhi and Baratashvili Bridges. It connects Erekle II Street and Rike. The Peace Bridge has become one of the symbols of renewed Tbilisi. It was officially opened on May 6, 2010. The architect of the bridge is Michele de Luca (he is also the architect of the MIA building and the Presidential Palace), and the lighting designer is Philippe Martino (he owns the lighting design for the MIA building, the Presidential Palace and the TV tower).

Metekhi Cathedral
Metekhi Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is located in the ancient historical district of Metekhi, on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, in old Tbilisi.
The main sanctuary of the temple is the tomb of St. Shushanik. After the ecclesiastical split between the Armenians and the Georgians at the beginning of the 7th century, Catholicos Kyrion transferred the remains of the saint from the small town of Tsurtavi to the Metekhi temple. The remains of the Holy Queen are in the deacons place. It is known that Queen Tamar adorned the body of the Blessed Queen with gilded clothes and paid special homage to her.

Legvachtahvi Gorge
Leghvtakhevi waterfall - is located in the old city of Tbilisi, one of the ancient place Abanotubani. The waterfall is 22 meters tall.
The name Leghvtakhevi comes from Georgian word "Leghvi" which means fig. There were so many trees of fig around this place. The ancient district Kala was separated from the main city by Leghvtakhevi gorge.

Narikala Fortress
Narikala Fortress is nowadays the leading sighting among the most visited places in Tbilisi by tourists. No one, I emphasize, no one leaves Tbilisi without walking around this amazing fortress, which is unbelievably stunning at night. Narikala Fortress draws your attention from all sides of Tbilisi, you can notice it from almost every part of Tbilisi. It overlooks the Mtkvari River, which makes Narikala even more incredible. Narikala consists of two walled sections between the sulphur baths and the Tbilisi Botanical Garden.

Shardeni Street
Shardeni Street is a small walking street in Tbilisi, in the Upper Kala district, between Vakhtang Gorgasali square and Sioni Street. It has always been one of the centers of cultural and social life in Tbilisi. There are still many art galleries, salons of vitreous enamel and other handmade items, as well as bars and restaurants in Shardeni. It is one of the most popular, crowded, interesting and attractive places in Tbilisi.
