Coyoacán
Explore Coyoacán, one of Mexico City’s most characterful districts. As evening falls, the area shifts into a lively mix of street vendors and small eateries.
Over four hours, you’ll move between a series of carefully curated stops, eating where locals eat. You’ll start with bold, flavourful street dishes like chistorra sausage, tinga de jamaica, and crispy fish tacos, before continuing through a wide range of local favourites. Along the way, expect sopes, tamales filled with rich mole, roasted esquites, and gorditas stuffed with suadero.
A highlight of the evening is tacos al pastor, carved fresh from the trompo, a defining dish of Mexico City. There are drinks throughout too, expect café de olla, horchata, seasonal atole, and pulque, offering a full picture of how locals eat and drink in the evening.
Between tastings, your guide will share insight into the neighbourhood, the dishes, and the traditions behind them, giving context to what you’re eating and where you are.
