1
Hôtel de ville de Copenhague
Rådhuspladsen translates to City Hall Square. The square is a hot spot for concerts, outdoor exhibitions, celebrations of returning sports heroes, and even political activities. Next to Rådhuspladsen, we find Tivoli and Strøget, the main pedestrian street.

Vieille Place
Gammeltorv is, in English, known as the “Old Square.” As the name indicates, it is the oldest square in Copenhagen, functioning as a marketplace already in the 1100s.

3
Plaza Nytorv
On the opposite side of Gammeltorv, we find Nytorv, “New Square.” A great example of Danish invention skills! It was at Nytorv that the butchers carried out their work, as sales took place at Gammeltorv.

Église Notre-Dame - Cathédrale de Copenhague
The Church of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke) is the National Cathedral of Denmark. The church has been rebuilt four times. The fourth church is the church we see today. At the Church of Our Lady is where King Frederik and Queen Mary were wed May 14th, 2004.

Université de Copenhague
The University of Copenhagen is one of the oldest universities in northern Europe. When it was created, it consisted of four faculties: theology, law, medicine, and philosophy. At the beginning of 2000, the University of Copenhagen was the largest educational institution in Denmark, with 37,000 students and more than 7,000 employees.

La Tour Ronde
The Rundetårn, or "Round Tower", is the oldest European observatory still functioning. Frederik II, King of Denmark and Norway, was the first king to take an interest in astronomy, mainly because of the work of the famous Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe.

Gråbrødretorf
Gråbrødetorv, or “The Grey Friars Square,” is named after the Franciscan monastery that once stood on the square. Although most of the houses on the square were destroyed in the Great Fire of 1728, the ones that survived were restored and painted in contemporary colours. This is a great stop for photos!

Stroget
Strøget is Copenhagen’s and one of Europe’s longest pedestrian streets with a length of 1.11 kilometres. Strøget is mostly known for its shopping and not without good reason, starting by the Town hall and ending at the Kongens Nytorv near Nyhavn, here you find a huge range of shops.
