The tour always begins at the Colosseum . Once inside, your guide will talk you through the history of this amazing place – the largest Roman amphitheatre ever built. You’ll hear fascinating tales of the bloody spectacles which were staged there, and why and how it was built.

Après la visite du Colisée, la visite se poursuivra vers l'Arc de Constantin et le Forum, la place principale et le cœur de la vie romaine antique. Vous y découvrirez les ruines du temple de Jules César, construit sur le lieu de sa crémation, l'Arc de Titus, la Maison des Vestales, le Sénat, la Basilique de Maxence et bien plus encore. Ces ruines témoignent du rôle du Forum comme creuset politique, religieux et social.

Next, you’ll see one of the most distinctive monuments in the city Il Vittoriano. Built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II, tis enormous neoclassical building is referred to as “Wedding Cake” by the locals.
