It offers a unique combination of history, culture, and commerce, making it a must - visit place for anyone interested in experiencing the traditional side of this modern metropolis. Jardin Yu (Yuyuan)
The last stop of our city walk is Yu Yuan Garden, also known as the Garden of Happiness. It is a famous classical Chinese garden located in the northeast of Shanghai Old Town. It was built in the Ming Dynasty by Pan Yunduan, a government officer, as a private garden for his father. The construction began in 1559 and was completed in 1577.
