Chitlang was only the way on foot to get to India and the Southern part of Nepal, before opening of Tribhuwan Highway. Drive to Thankot and Trek to Chitlang

Chitlang Organic Village
You will be received by your Guide at Hotel’s Lobby at 8 am and takes you to drive from Kathmandu to Thankot (13 km) starting point for hiking to Chitlang. It is approximately 4 hours hike to Chitlang. Upon reaching Chitlang you would be served lunch. After lunch enjoy view of Pear garden. Afternoon visit Bhairav temple, Ashok Chaitya, Shivalaya and Satdhara. Evening camp fire with Barbeque on your own expenses.
