Saratli Kirkgoz
Saratlı Kırkgöz Underground City is located approximately 22 kilometers (13 miles) from Nevşehir, in the Saratlı district of Cappadocia. Believed to date back to the Roman and early Byzantine periods, the underground city was carved into soft volcanic rock and used as a shelter during times of invasion and unrest. It features multiple levels with living quarters, storage rooms, kitchens, ventilation shafts, and defensive stone doors designed to protect its inhabitants.
Although smaller than some of Cappadocia’s more famous underground cities, Saratlı offers a quieter and more intimate exploration experience. Its well-preserved tunnels and chambers provide visitors with a clear understanding of how ancient communities lived underground for safety and survival. The site is easy to navigate and gives an authentic insight into the region’s fascinating subterranean heritage.

Lac Salé
Tuz Gölü is one of the largest salt lakes in Turkey and one of the most extraordinary natural landscapes in Central Anatolia. Located between Ankara, Konya, and Aksaray, the lake is famous for its dazzling white salt flats that create a surreal, mirror-like reflection during certain seasons.
With its vast open horizon and crystalized salt surface, Tuz Gölü offers visitors a unique walking experience and exceptional photo opportunities. Depending on the season and water level, guests may walk on the shallow surface and observe the natural salt formations up close. The lake is also an important habitat for various bird species, making it both a scenic and ecologically significant destination.
