La Caldera
La Caldera - 1 Hour
The La Caldera Recreational Area is located in the highlands of La Orotava, just beyond the Aguamansa neighborhood. It is one of the most comprehensive recreational areas in the north of Tenerife, attracting a large number of visitors year-round. La Caldera offers several amenities, including parking, a bar-restaurant, a large playground, public restrooms (without showers), barbecue grills, tables, and a camping area. This recreational area is the starting point for numerous trails in the surrounding area. Altitude: 1,000 meters.

Paisaje Lunar
Il longe le sentier des Siete Cañadas, un tronçon de l'historique Camino Real de Chasna, qui reliait autrefois les régions du versant sud de l'île à la vallée de la Orotava au nord. Ce sentier plat, avec peu de montées et de descentes, longe une grande partie de la paroi intérieure du Circo de las Cañadas, entre les escarpements abrupts et les badlands des dernières éruptions, à travers les multiples plaines sédimentaires ou cañadas qui lui donnent son nom. Un itinéraire étendu qui, sur ses 16 kilomètres, nous offrira des paysages volcaniques d'une grande beauté et d'un grand intérêt géologique, sublimés par une flore endémique colorée (surtout au printemps) et ornés par l'omniprésence du volcan Teide.
