Leaving Baku in the morning, we will first of all go to the pink lake Masazir. Most often, it is in the morning that it shows us its ‘pink face’. Even the sand on the shore of this amazing lake is reddish in colour. The beauty of this lake is mesmerising and peaceful at the same time.

They alternate in beige, pink, white in different combinations. The best time to visit is when the weather is sunny and you can see all the colours of the soil of these hills

This is the place where travellers from south to north and vice versa have been stopping for almost 3,000 years. Here, the spurs of the Greater Caucasus come closest to the Caspian Sea, creating a geographical and climatic divide. This can be felt literally at a few hundred metres. Sometimes, on one side it rains, and on the other side it is sunny and hot. Until today, the mountain is shrouded in mystery, and locals still come here to pray.

The capital of Azerbaijan, unlike other Muslim countries, does not have such a huge number of mosques. Although there are not many mosques, but if they appear, they become a masterpiece. One such example is the Heydar Aliyev Mosque.
