Your starting point is Via Giuseppe Pietri in the centre of Arezzo. Open the Explorial app, enter your 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, select English or Italian, and tap Start.
The route moves through Arezzo's medieval heart, between the Piazza Grande and the city's historic churches. The Chiesa di Santa Maria della Pieve — the 12th-century Romanesque church with its tiered campanile — features early with a riddle that sends you examining the arcade of columns on the facade.
