The temple is also dedicated to the medical trinity, which consists of three gods: Amun Ra, his wife Mut, and his son Khonsu. Karnak Temple is located in the east of Luxor. Its area is approximately 60 acres. The temple contains antiquities from the ancient Wadala eras, around 3000 BC, as well as the Middle Kingdom. But the golden age of the Karnak Temple was the Middle Kingdom, around 1500 BC, during the reign of the most powerful Egyptian kings, namely Ramesses II, Hatshepsut, Tutankhamun, Thutmose III, and others.
