Samburu National Reserve is a haven for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich. You will be staying at Samburu Sopa Lodge built on top high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge.

Samburu National Reserve
Pick up in Nairobi Hotel/Airport and Depart for Samburu at 7.00 am. This will be a 6-hour drive. There will be an en-route stopover to view Mount Kenya with its Snow-capped peaks. Arrive at the camp just in time for check-in and lunch. Embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance of spotting the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich, Elephants, Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah. Later in the evening drive back to your camp for dinner and overnight stay. Lunch and dinner at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
