Citadelle inca de Choquequirao
DIA 1. CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – CHIQUISCA – PLAYA ROSALINAS – SANTA ROSA
We will leave Cusco early in the morning at approximately 3:00 am. then we will go to the small town of Cachora (2850m / 9350f), a pleasant place surrounded by beautiful mountains and the majestic Padreyoc glacier (5571m / 18278f). After having passed the panoramic view of Kapuliyoc (2800m / 9186f), we will continue descending towards Chikisqa, then ascend to the Marampata camp (2918m / 7332f), where we will spend the first night of our Choquequirao Tour 3 Days.
Meals: lunch and dinner.
Accommodation: Marampata Camp 2,913m / 9,560ft
Weather: warm and sunny.
Travel distance: about 15 km

Citadelle inca de Choquequirao
DIA 1. CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – CHIQUISCA – PLAYA ROSALINAS – SANTA ROSA
At dawn, after the nutritious breakfast; We will start the walk to the citadel of Choquequirao (3033m / 9950) called the "Cradle of Gold" and we will enjoy the tranquility in this place with a guided tour. Further, we will explore this archaeological site, of which only 30% is restored, in more detail: we will visit the section of the palaces, the liturgical sources, the temple of the high priest, the section of the flames. Afterwards we will return to Marampata, where we will have our lunch. We will then return to Chikisqa, where our camp is located.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Accommodation: Chikisqa Camp 1,835m / 6,020ft

Citadelle inca de Choquequirao
DIA 3. CHOQUEQUIRAO – MARAMPATA - SANTA ROSA - PLAYA ROSALINAS - PLAYA ROSALINAS - CUSCO
We will start the day early with breakfast and then make a 2-hour visit to the archaeological complex. During the tour, the guide will give us some information about the place and will explain its importance to the empire. After touring and taking pictures, we will return to the camp to take our things and begin the descent to Santa Rosa. We will arrive at the place to have lunch and rest a bit before continuing the trek to Rosalina Beach and then to Cachora, where we will catch our transportation back to Cusco.
