Sun Moon Lake Sun Moon Lake, also nicknamed “honeymoon lake,” has been selected as one of the “Eight Views of Taiwan” for over a hundred years. The lake is named so due to that the shape of its eastern part, which is like the sun and the western part, which is like a crescent moon.
