Explore the great wilderness of Sichuan on horseback as soon as you arrive, an intense and immediate adventure.
Day 0 – Heading for the Highlands At 5pm we pick you up at your Inn in Chengdu. The road gradually rises to the mountains of Aba. Late arrival in a Tibetan village, homestay and first night in the heart of the highlands.
Day 1 – A full day riding in the vastness When you wake up, meet the Tibetan horses. Then you go for a full day of hiking through endless meadows, scenic ridges and wild valleys.
The rhythm of the horse, the wind of the plateaus, the yaks in the distance — a total immersion in Tibetan Sichuan. Return home at the end of the day for a traditional dinner and a frie...
