The scenic drive from Cape Town to Inverdoorn Game Reserve takes you through the tropical fruit-growing area of Ceres. The valley was named after the Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility and is renowned for its spectacular beauty and vast fruit plantations.

Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve
After welcome drinks, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (from 13h00) served under the trees or in the Main Rondawel restaurant. Check into your room from 14h00. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the gardens or relaxing in your room. Join everyone on the deck for afternoon tea or coffee at 16h00 in summer and 15h30 in winter.

Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve
The afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle departs at 17h00 in summer or 16h00 in winter. Blankets and hot water bottles are provided in cold weather; bring warm jackets, beanies and gloves.
The length of the safari tour depends on what you see and stop for but it’s generally between 2&half to 3 hours long, returning to the lodge between 19h30 and 20h00.

Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve
Freshen up in your room and then join your hosts for pre-dinner drinks (own cost) at the boma or indoors in the cosy lounge and bar area. A 5-course set-menu dinner is served in the Traditional Rondavel restaurant around the fire pit (weather dependent) from 20h00 in summer and 19h30 in winter.
After dinner, relax around the roaring fire while your ranger serves drinks from the bar (own cost). Retire to your room and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the stillness of the Ceres Karoo.
