Upon arrival in the parking lot of the scenic area, you will first take an electric car to the entry, and then take the chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. Have a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours, at the end take the toboggan town. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu enjoys the great reputation of "Out of all the Great Walls, Mutianyu stands apart". Roam the ancient structure and learn the history and facts that make its so famous. After lunch, you will be escorted to get back to the downtown area to enjoy the natural beauty of lake and mountain as well as imperial buildings at the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China, with a history of around 250 years. The garden mainly consists of the Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill. Occupying three quarters of the whole area, the Kunming Lake is like a large mirror reflecting the nearby Longevity Hill and the outstanding Tower of Buddhist Incense leaning against the hill. Loitering around the lake can provide you more fun as we will appreciate exquisite paintings at the Long Gallery, have a rest at the lakeside Marble Boat, and also take good shots of the lake backed by the Longevity Hill at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge.
