Cette excursion d'une journée au lac Kerkini est l'un des 10 habitats humides les plus précieux de Grèce, abritant environ 300 espèces d'oiseaux et d'animaux rares. Parmi les nombreuses espèces, admirez les magnifiques flamants roses et les magnifiques buffles. Le tout, agrémenté d'une vue magnifique sur le mont Beles et la majestueuse vallée de Serres. Départ en bus pour le lac Kerkini à 8h00. Vous atteindrez le barrage du lac Kerkini (région de Lithotopos) et pourrez observer les oiseaux depuis le lac. Un espace équestre est situé à proximité du barrage et vous pourrez en profiter si le temps le permet. Ensuite, vous dégusterez un café chaud et ferez une halte à la ferme, à quelques kilomètres de là, où les impressionnants buffles vous accompagneront. Plus loin, vous poursuivrez votre route jusqu'au village de Vironia et déjeunerez dans une taverne grecque traditionnelle. Départ pour Thessalonique vers 14h00 par la route périphérique de la rive ouest du lac.

The healing waters have a steady temperature of 37° Celcius and healing properties against skin conditions, arthritis, respiratory problems, etc. On this day trip, we travel straight to the baths in the morning, where you will relax and soak in the hot springs. Depending on our pace we can stop for lunch at a nice little village nearby. We will then continue & also visit Edessa the first capital of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia, where we'll have the chance to see one of the "most beautiful waterfalls" of the Balkans & the biggest in Greece!
