Ce parcours de 13 km vous permettra de découvrir un large éventail de sites, tels que des rizières et des champs agricoles, d'anciennes routes commerciales, des villages locaux alliant anciens et nouveaux modes de vie, un temple et un sanctuaire, une courte randonnée et les rives du lac Biwa, le tout en environ 3 heures. Les deux chutes d'eau que nous visitons sont spectaculaires. La première, les chutes d'Hira, se trouve à seulement 400 mètres de marche du parking. De là, nous marchons jusqu'aux chutes d'eau de Yobai, encore plus spectaculaires, où nous ressentons le clapotis de l'eau fraîche. La randonnée aller-retour ne fait qu'1,5 km, mais le sentier est rocailleux et raide, donc une bonne condition physique est requise. De là, nous allons au bord du lac Biwa où nous faisons du kayak, nageons ou nous détendons sur la plage. Ce circuit est parfait pour les voyageurs qui veulent échapper à la foule et à la chaleur de Kyoto et d'Osaka et profiter de la nature.
