La zone d'El Doradillo est visitée chaque saison par des groupes de baleines mères et leurs baleineaux. Grâce au calme de ses eaux et à la profondeur inhabituelle de la côte (due à sa forte pente), les baleines s'approchent très près de la plage. Ceci permet l'observation côtière, avec une forte probabilité de les trouver à seulement 15 ou 20 mètres de la côte. Le départ est prévu à 11h et à 16h. Le départ matinal comprend un pique-nique sur la plage composé d'un sandwich au poulet, d'alfajor artisanal et de boissons variées, ainsi qu'un goûter complet avec café, thé, chocolat chaud et gourmandises. Dans les deux cas, une randonnée pédestre de 1 000 mètres sur les falaises est envisageable, accompagnée de guides-interprètes.
