Come with us for your Aurora hunt for an amazing and ethical experience underneath the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this tour, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts & use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot, we will dress in warm thermal suits, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a warm meal. You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. Enjoy our hot drinks before being returned to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our experienced team will do their best every night of the season.

Arctic Fjords and Reindeer Experience – Small group tour
Wondering Reindeer is Sami reindeer experience company ho is offering guests authentic Sami adventures. We offer guests a small group tour (22 pers) around Kvaløya island with majestic mountains and arctic fjords. During the trip around the island, guests will join Sami reindeer herder and his reindeers when he feed the magnificent animals. When the herd is gathered, there will be an opportunity to feed the animals by hand. Guests will also be gathering in traditional Sami lavvo (Sami tent) around open bonfire to enjoy Joik (traditional Sami songs) and learn more about Sami traditions. During the roundtrip we will visit Sommarøy Arctic Hotel for lunch/meal made of local ingredients. Sommrøy is a fantastic place and a group of islands in the open sea 1,5 hours driving from Tromsø. Guests will have time to explore Sommrøy by walking around before we leave the fishing community.

This year we’re celebrating 10 Years of The Green Adventure! Trust local experienced guides with a 98% success rate last season and the finest photographers. We will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and set off on a comfortable journey in our minibus. In the minibus our expedition leader will do a small introduction about weather conditions, possibilities to see the lights and selected locations. We always work as a team, so we are in contact with other Aurora hunters to increase our chances. Once we find the right place under the clear skies, we will get ready for the show. We will also set up a bonfire, that's the perfect time to warm up with a cup of hot drink and also roast some sweet marshmallows. By the time we will tell you some interesting stories from the north and legends about lady Aurora. Also you will have a chance to try "made in Tromso" soup, which is tailored for arctic expeditions. After the tour you will receive photos from our expedition leader.
