Once you arrive, take a break and behold this giant piece of rock that rests at an elevation of 7,650 feet and overlooks three different mountain ranges: the Absaroka, the Bridger and the Gallatin ranges. As we set out for our return, prepare yourself (and your camera) for another opportunity to soak in the stunning scenery that makes our ranch so special. *After meeting staff at Erik’s Ranch, you’ll follow them in your vehicle for a scenic 20-minute drive to the trailhead. The trail itself winds through private land and remote trails rarely seen by the public. A high-clearance, AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the trailhead.
