Your journey to the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins begins with a scenic drive along the picturesque Hummingbird Highway, continuing onto the Western Highway as you enter the lush Cayo District. The ride takes approximately 3 hours, leading you to the impressive archaeological site of Xunantunich, rich in history and culture.

Xunantunich Mayan Ruins
Once inside the archeological reserve, your guide will lead you through plazas and ancient temples, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and significance of the site. You'll ascend the towering El Castillo, the second-tallest man-made structure in Belize, where panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and even Guatemala await. At St. Herman's Cave, you will go through an unforgettable underground adventure through one of Belize's most accessible and historically rich cave systems. Our accredited guide will meet you at the park entrance and lead you along a short forest trail to the cave's massive limestone opening. As you enter the cave, equipped with headlamps and helmets, your guide will illuminate the fascinating geology, history, and ancient Maya use of the cave as a ceremonial site.
