As you walk through Raadhuisstraat, the guide will help you recreate this beautiful city during the war. You will see the Magna Plaza, which served as a post office at that time, and hear the story of what happened at Mozes en Aäronstraat, a street between the Royal Palace and the New Church.

In the heart of the Dam Square you will also see the National Monument and learn about the tragic shooting that took place in 1945, two days after German capitulation. The final stop will be at the historic Hotel Sofitel Legend The Grand, which served as a City Hall when the German troops arrived in Amsterdam on May 15th, 1940.
