Winter Dog Sled Adventure in Willow Alaska
About
Your adventure begins the moment you arrive at Snowhook, where your retired sled dogs—many of them Iditarod veterans—will welcome you with wagging tails. After getting outfitted for the weather, sharing trail stories around a campfire, and meeting your canine family, it’s time for the ride of a lifetime.
Your custom sleds hold two passengers and a guide, pulled by a powerful team of 8 to 12 dogs. One passenger sits comfortably up front while the other stands on the back runner behind the guide to help drive. Most guests swap spots halfway through so everyone can snap incredible photos and experience mushing firsthand.
