In Kaudulla national park gives you a great opportunity of getting closer with elephants. Large number of Sri Lankan elephants around 250 can be seen in October. And also leopards , Sambar Deers, Fishing Cat, endangered rusty spotted cats and sloth bears. The best time period to visit is from January to March and less reliably May to June.The Kudulla tank contributes to sustain this large number of elephants around the park.
