Budhanilkantha: A Spiritual Journey, situated in the northern part of the Kathmandu Valley, holds deep significance for the Hindu community in Nepal. Approximately 9 km from the city center, this serene sanctuary rests at the base of the Shivapuri Hills. Its most striking feature is the colossal stone statue of Lord Vishnu, reclining gracefully on a bed of coiled serpents. Carved from a single block of black stone, this 5-meter-long masterpiece is also known as Jalasyana Narayan.
