CROSSING THE UYUNI SALT FLAT: THE TRAINS GRAVEYARD, HOTEL MADE OF SALT, AND THE ISLAND WITH CACTI AND PETRIFIED CORAL

Train Cemetery
This adventure starts with meeting the group in our office in Uyuni where you can leave your luggage if you wish, then we will leave the town of Uyuni around 10:30 a.m. to visit the Uyuni train cemetery.
In this special and enigmatic place, travelers will find old wagons that were abandoned more than half a century ago in the desert.

Colchani
Afterward, you can enjoy Colchani (salt miners' workshops), where you can see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llamas and alpacas. Then, visit “Ojos de Agua Salada”, where water bubbles through the salt plains, and a hotel made entirely of salt that is used as a museum nowadays.

Isla Incahuasi
Next, hike up to “Incahuasi Island” to see tall Cactus and rock formations made of petrified coral ( Make sure to take photographs from a different perspective).
Then we will enjoy lunch. Afterward, enjoy the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flats.
Finally, around 7:00 pm we will arrive at our hostel for dinner and rest in shared rooms (double rooms or triple rooms).
