The Neptune fountain is a neoclassical style fountain that occupies the center of the roundabout to which it popularly gives its name, within the Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, in the Spanish city of Madrid. This monumental fountain was proposed in 1777 and its construction, begun in 1782, was completed in 1786.

Museo Nacional del Prado
Singularly rich in paintings by European masters from the 16th to the 19th centuries, according to art historian and Hispanist Jonathan Brown "few would dare to doubt that it is the most important museum in the world of European painting." Los Jeronimos
Popularly known as "Los Jerónimos", its official name is the Parish Church of San Jerónimo el Real. It is located next to the Prado Museum, at the back, and is in the late Gothic style with Renaissance influences from the early 16th century. Although little remains of the original building as over the centuries it has been remodeled and restored on numerous occasions. Its name refers to its special relationship with the kings of Spain. To begin with, it was built by order of the Catholic Monarchs and throughout history it became a place of spiritual retreat for several monarchs. Furthermore, for centuries it has been the scene of royal investitures in the absence of a cathedral and the wedding of Alfonso XIII was also celebrated here, for which the large staircase leading to its door was built in 1906.

Cibeles Fountain
Surrounded by the buildings of the Buenavista Palace (Army Headquarters), Linares Palace (Casa de América), Communications Palace (previously the headquarters of the Post Office and currently the Madrid City Council) and the Bank of Spain. The fountain represents the Roman goddess Cybele, symbol of the earth, agriculture and fertility, on a chariot pulled by two lions, the mythological characters Hippomenes and Atalanta. The goddess and the lions were sculpted in marble and the rest in stone. The sculpture of the goddess is the work of Francisco Gutiérrez. The two lions have been sculpted by the Frenchman Roberto Michel. The goddess is an icon for fans of the Real Madrid soccer team, since the titles of the Madrid team are celebrated there, as well as the successes of the Spanish soccer team.

Jardines de Sabatini
The Sabatini gardens are located in front of the north façade of the Royal Palace of Madrid, between Bailén street and San Vicente slope. They occupy an area of 2.66 hectares.

Royal Palace of Madrid
Today the palace is used exclusively for receptions, ceremonies and official events since the kings of Spain reside in the Zarzuela Palace. The Royal Palace is also called the Eastern Palace. The construction of the Royal Palace began in 1738 and work continued for seventeen years. Shortly after its completion, in 1764, Charles III established his habitual residence there. The location of the palace was the same as that occupied by the Palace of the Austrias, destroyed by fire during Christmas Eve of 1734. The Palacio de Oriente is surrounded by the Campo del Moro gardens and the Sabatini gardens. The first, to the west, date from the Middle Ages; The latter were created in the 20th century and are in the north. Campo del Moro can be visited during the day.

Catedral de Sta Maria la Real de la Almudena
The Almudena Cathedral is the most important religious building in Madrid. On June 15, 1993 it was consecrated by Pope John Paul II, becoming the first cathedral consecrated outside of Rome. The Almudena Cathedral Museum brings together dozens of objects that tell the history of the diocese of Madrid. In the twelve rooms that the museum has you will see everything from mosaics to episcopal shields and ornaments.
