Selous Game Reserve
The Selous game reserve, is Africa’s largest game reserve with an area of approximately 50,000 km2 representing more than 5% of Tanzania land surface. It is also one of Oldest reserve founded 1896.It is a biodiversity hotspot, comprising Miombo Woodland (70%) as well as open grassland, Riverine forest and Acacia bush. The Selous Game Reserve contains some of largest and most important population of Elephant, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Cats and Wild Dogs in Africa.
It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during world War 1.This pristine reserve was declared a world Heritage site in 1982.

Udzungwa Mountains National Park
Udzungwa Mountain mwanihana Peak, is the second highest peak and suitable for keen hikers. Our route is thirty eight kilometers up and down, taken in various stretches each day, as you can see on each day’s itinerary. It is very popular to combine this tour with a game drive tour at Mikumi National Park.
