Leaving early from your place of stay in Puerto Varas we head straight to the foothills of the imposing Osorno Volcano, with a height of 2,652 meters. We will arrive at the height of the Ski Center to prepare and start our hike at 1,200 meters above sea level towards the Glacier viewpoint located on the volcano at 1,800 meters above sea level with an ascent of at least 3 hours. Upon arrival we can rest and observe the characteristic Seracs of the glacier. We will begin our descent towards the Red Crater, one of the many side craters that possesses the volcano and the most accessible.
