Fatima, a professional chef, has always been passionate about cuisine and culture and learned to cook the family recipes from a young age, which has been passed down from generation to generation. She enjoys cooking Alentejo cuisine, from the region of Evora where she was born, also food from Algarve, where she lived and worked for 29 years. Fatima also bakes bread, makes traditional pastries and chocolate. She has always enjoyed being a host and looks forward to cooking, sharing stories and meeting new people from around the world. In your cooking class you will cook dishes from Fatima’s mom’s kitchen, the food she grew up eating and it will be prepared using family recipes.

This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Fatima lives in an apartment with in Bacelo, a quiet residential area. Join her in her home kitchen for your Portuguese cooking class. In your 2-hour Evora cooking class, learn to make an appetizer, main course and dessert.
