St Andrews is the home of golf and features the Old Course . Walking tours of the Old Course are available ( not included in the tour price ) . The Old course gold shop and the Museum of Golf have a wide variety of golf gifts and apparel . St Andrews is also home of one of the oldest universities in Britain . Visit a beautiful ruined castle in the town or the ancient cathedral . You have around two hours to explore this historic town. St Andrews features a number of restaurants and cafes for lunch
